Iain Stevens

Vocals and Guitar

Iain has performed with stars at  BBC Music Live, alongside Heather Small, Boy George, Gloria Gaynor, Edwin Starr and Carleen Anderson,  backed by The London Community Gospel Choir. Iain has an impressive vocal talent and has been singing since an early age, when he was chosen as the solo lead in both his school choir and the church choir. Since then he has gone on to sing lead vocals in several bands. He has also provided vocals for several commercial recordings.  His guitar talents are often overlooked due to his superb voice but guitarists have been known to question him on his undoubted skills. Iain is also working as a voice over artist on video games and an experienced sound engineer.

Jozef Secnik (AKA Teets Peamann)

Bass

Jozef is an incredibly talented musician who has been playing professionally for over 17yrs. He has worked extensively throughout Europe and the UK. He has achieved great success over the years, both as a bass player and as a composer / producer. He has played with countless bands and is constantly in demand for studio sessions. In his native Slovenia Jozef has enjoyed chart topping success and received awards for his compositions. A stunning live performer, Jozef is a great addition to Grooveology.

Mark has dedicated himself to becoming the best musician he can and has over 20 years' experience both in playing live and in the studio. He has gigged all over the UK and most of Europe. He has also made several appearances on Radio and television. Mark is a highly versatile and talented drummer, totally at home playing many different styles. Mark is also an excellent backing singer.

David Reeks

Keyboards

David began his musical career at the age of six and already has 25yrs experience in both live performance and composing. This experience, combined with his obvious natural talent, makes one of the most exciting keyboard players you are likely to see.  He has written soundtracks for several video games and  has worked on numerous song writing projects. He also appeared as the pianist in the Rosie Gaines video for her hit Closer Than Close, as well as several other television and radio appearances.

Louise Pollock

Vocals

Louise is  from Chester originally, and is now based in West London. Louise has considerable talents, not just as a singer but also songwriter.  In 2000 Louise became known as Myla and recorded  dance tracks 'Hypnotised', 'Reveal Yourself' and 'Died in Your Arms', two of which went to No.1 in the Dance Charts. Louise (as Myla) worked alongside artists such as Blue, LibertyX, Sonique, Atomic Kitten, Louise Redknapp and Malcolm McLaren. The single Lovechild from her solo album Louise Pollock was also released by Acid Jazz records. Louise then teamed up with Winston Rollins of Jamiroquai and Jools Holland and her current band 'Real' was born. In 2005 Louise and Winston started work on an album of songs and 2006 saw the release of Real's debut album 'Give Me A Reason' on Smooch Records and on Columbia Records in Japan and will be releasing their next studio album later in 2007. Louise’s versatility as a performer, combined with her vivacious personality and superb voice have made her a major new force on the UK soulfunk scene and a great addition to Grooveology

Belle Erskine

Singer/songwriter Belle Erskine started her career as a dancer/singer in the West End Musical ‘CATS’.On leaving the show, she began working for bands and producers and quickly became very much in demand as a vocalist and writer. Her versatile voice, sometimes sweet, sometimes extremely powerful can easily flit between soft whispering vocals and big diva belts!!! Belle is much in demand in the U.K, Europe and L.A. She has works with bands, musicians, DJ’s and producers of the highest calibre. Belle writes and records for many labels including Hed Kandi, EMI, Positiva, One phat diva, BMG, Almighty records and Tokyo records, aswell as many other independent labels. Most recently Belle has been writing and recording with world renowned producers and DJ’s Daniele Tignino, Pied Piper and Eric Kupper.

Danny obtained a Masters degree in music at The Royal Academy Of Music after three years at Trinity College. He has preformed at The Royal Albert Hall and The Royal Festival Hall. Danny held the position of lead trumpet  in the National Youth Jazz Orchestra for several years. He is constantly in demand from various bands and artists including Rod Stewart Go West, Tony Hadley, ABC, James Taylor Quartet and Elton John as well as performing in several west end shows including The Rat Pack. He has also recorded sessions with a horn section that works with George Michael, Wet Wet Wet, Elton John and Jamiroquai.

Trombone

Alistair is one of Europe’s top musicians. He has played in Jools Holland’s band since the age of 16 and has also been in the National Youth Jazz Orchestra (NYJO) for several years. Twice winner of BBC Trombonist of the year and winner of Young Jazz Musician of the Year he has played with just about everyone in the business including Sting, Eric Clapton, Tom Jones, Tony Christie and Jamiroquai.

Simon Willescroft

Saxophone

Simon is one of the best saxophone players you are ever likely to hear! Simon has played all over the world. He has provided saxophone for countless recordings and live performances including Tony Hadley, ABC, Go West, Katie Melua, Rose Royce, Zero 7, Hamish Stewart (Average White Band), Snake Davis, Bob Mintzer (The Yellowjackets), Joey Negro and The James Taylor Quartet. Simon is currently working with Duran Duran.
